1. Submit your language and translation articles. I've recently started a directory of articles related to language and translation, and am looking for authors to submit their original articles. If you'd like to submit your articles, you can add a link to your site in your Bio/Resource box, which is a good way to build more links to your site and get more business. 2. Need a new electronic dictionary? Ectaco is the premier online site for electronic dictionaries and software. Right now they are having their spring sale, where you can get some of their products at a 2-for-1 discount. www.spanish-translation-help.com/Ectaco 3. Fun translation tool. Surfing around online the other day, I ran across a tool written by Carl Tashian that made me laugh. If you ever get bogged down in your work, or get tired of explaining to your customers why automatic translators don't work, this should help you feel better. This tool takes a string of English text, runs it through a online translator into another language, translates the output back into English, then repeats the process a number of times with different languages. The results are outrageous. Enjoy.
4. Quote - Henry Ford "You can't build a reputation on what you're going to do." Anything you want to say? Let me know. I'd love to hear anything you've got to say, from suggestions to comments to your translation experiences. Just reply to this zine and tell me what you think!
