1. Get certified as a translator without leaving your home At least two or three times a week, I get asked the same question: "What's the easiest way to get certified as a translator?" People want to be able to show potential employers or clients that they are certified as a translators, and one of the ways to get certified is by attending school and getting a translation degree or certificate. However, this isn't always the easiest solution because it's not easy for people to leave everything and go back to school. Read the rest of the article if you're interested in becoming certified as a translator without leaving your home.
====Translator's Ebook==== 2. ATA Membership: Is it worth it? Speaking of translation certification, one of the things a lot of translators who are just starting out wonder about is whether or not it's worth it to become a member of the American Translator's Association. People have opinions on both sides of the coin, but I'm almost looking for what other people think. Whether you've decided to become an ATA member or decided that it wasn't for you, I'd like to know (as I'm sure many of the readers of this website would). If you'd like, you can share your opinion on our ATA membership site. Thanks! 3. Quote - Chinese Proverb “Tell me and I'll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I'll understand.”
