"Barbero" means literally "Barber" some one who cuts hair. Also the slang term "Barbero" means brown-noser, someone who kisses-up in hopes of a favor. The difference in both words could be extrapolated from the context. also, the term is used all throughout Mexico, but more predominantly especially the Northern region.
Examples: "No seas Barbero" "Don't be a brown-noser"

Barbero could also mean someone who is shady and not on the up and up also a kind of instigator. No seas barbero... Meaning don't be a kiss ass.
