Not to be confused with "Peluquero" NEW
by: Martell

Although it can be related to "Barbero", people with that profession are often called "Peluquero" instead.

Barbero is a word used to describe someone who likes to please in order to gain favours or symphaty.

Barbero in Mexican Slang
by: Anonymous

"Barbero" means literally "Barber" some one who cuts hair. Also the slang term "Barbero" means brown-noser, someone who kisses-up in hopes of a favor. The difference in both words could be extrapolated from the context. also, the term is used all throughout Mexico, but more predominantly especially the Northern region.

Examples: "No seas Barbero" "Don't be a brown-noser"
