English to Spanish translation

While most of the work I do now is translation from English to Spanish, I do occasionally do English to Spanish translation work.

When I started translating about 10 years ago, it took me a little while to realize that there was a difference in the amount of translation work I got depending on the direction of the language translation. For example, throughout my career, most of the work I've done as a freelance translator has been from English to Spanish. These translations have been things such as standard operating procedures for factory workers, advertisements, and product nutrition labels.

However, when I started working as an in-house translator, the emphasis on my translation work shifted. I went from doing mostly English to Spanish translation to concentrating heavily on Spanish to English translation. So which do I like better?

I like doing them both because each presents a unique challenge to me and I love being able to render ideas from one language to another so that more people can understand the world.

If you are in need of English to Spanish translation, feel free to contact me and I will get back to you right away with all the information to move forward. I am interested in helping you do what you want done with your documentation or product. Let me know how I can help.
