Another free Spanish English
online translation tool

Free Spanish English online translation tools are all over the Internet today. It seems like you can find one on every other page offering translation tools.

While I have reviewed a few online translators, there are still a bunch out there that I haven't got to.

One of the free Spanish English online translation engines that I'd like to review now is the one located at the Paralink site.

This translator is used quite frequently because it shows up near the top of online searches for online translations and free translators.

The translation engine in use at the site above is the online version of PROMT, translation technology by the people at imtranslator.net. (You can check out their website if you want a corporate solution for your translation needs.)

OK... back to the translator.

First of all, language combinations. It's got all the regular Romance language combinations, as well as Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. Additionally, you can translate to and from Greek, Dutch, and German.

After you figure out which languages you want, you then enter the text you want translated and off you go. There is an insert function which allows you to enter accented characters.

You can then edit the translation, print it, or send it as an email to someone.

The one thing I like about the page in general is that if you click on the arrow that says "Translations today", a window will pop-up that lists how many translations have been done using the translator. So for example, the day I looked at it, there had been 649,209 translations in that particular day! That's a lot of translations.
