I decided to look at some of the more popular free Spanish translation services and see how they compared with each other. I only looked at four of the translators: Google, FreeTranslation, WorldLingo, and AltaVista (BabelFish). You can click on any of these links to get more detailed information on the free online Spanish translators I reviewed. In the end, no translator stood out any more than another so I'm not going to recommend one over another. Check them each out and you can decide which of the free Spanish translation results you like for yourself. 1. Google 3. WorldLingo 4. AltaVista To run the test, I picked an English nursery rhyme and ran it through each translator outputing Spanish. Then I had the free translator translate the text back into English. The English text I used is: I'm a little teapot, short and stout. Here are the results:
