"Hoy por mi, manana por qui"

Someone did me a favor and after I said thank you (muchas gracias), they replied "Hoy por mi, manana por qui". The spelling may be off, but can you tell me what this means/translates to?

Well the right spellig should be "Hoy por mi, maƱana por ti" which litterally means "Today for me,tomorrow for you".

it is today for me, tomorrow for you.
meaning they know you will repay the favor sometime
