Meaning of gavacha

How do you spell the slang for white chick...my Mexican friend says something that sounds like 'gavacha. Is that the correct spelling?

Gabacha is more common. It means American/Canadian (female). Male is gabacho. An americano can be from anywhere in the Americas.
