Nuestro Himno - Lyrics

Nuestro Himno is the title of the newest Spanish version of the U.S. national anthem.

There have been many Spanish versions of the U.S. national anthem over the years. These Spanish versions have ranged from stricter translations to versions that aren't really translations at all.

It hasn't been until recent that the national anthem in Spanish has created such a stir among the U.S. population and this most recent version is one that has taken more liberties with the wording. The basic underlying music is similar, but that's about it.

Below are the lyrics for this version. It is sung by various Latin music artists. If you're interested, you can see a video of Nuestro Himno being sung.

¡Oh decid! Despliega aún
Su hermosura estrellada
sobre tierra de libres,
¿la bandera sagrada?
