Review on the WLS Certificate in Translation in Ireland

A stranger asked: Where can reviews on the WLS Certification in Translation course out of Ireland be found on the web? There is another posting here asking the same question. Can anyone offer a review, or help us to find one?



The Spanish Translator: I wish I could tell you more about this program, because I've seen similar questions asked in other translation forums. When it's difficult to find reviews of a service or product, the best thing to do is try and contact the person offering the service and listen to what your gut feeling tells you when you talk to them. The WLS translation program websites does list a phone number where you can supposedly talk to someone about the program. If possible, I would even ask them if you could contact someone who has previously completed the program in order to get a better idea of what it offers.

Also, be sure to check out other online translation certificate programs and do a side-by-side comparison of all the different options that they offer, including timeframe, price, study materials, etc. Also, be sure to call each program and talk to someone live, because that is the best way to get a feel of what kind of people you will be dealing with.
