Spanish language

You have to have an understanding of the Spanish language whether you're already a Spanish translator or interested in becoming one.

Learning a language is not like riding a bike: You can't take a break from studying it. Even if you're a professional translator, you have to keep up on your language skills. And if you're interested in becoming a translator, you'll quickly learn that you always have to keep your language skills up to par, just like a basketball player practicing a jump shot, or a golfer practicing a putt.

In order to help you keep your Spanish language skills top notch, I have posted the pages below. Let me know if you'd like to see anything else, or if you have anything to add.

Spanish Words: A 90,000+ list of Spanish words in alphabetical order. Use it along with a dictionary to see how many words you know and use it as a study guide to increase your vocabulary.

Spanish Games Online: Some fun online Spanish games to keep your skills up to snuff (and pass some time while you're at it).

Spanish Accents and Nacho Libre: An interesting observation on Spanish accents and how they relate to the field of translation.

I'm passionate about Spanish translation. What are you passionate about? Want to turn that passion into profit? Here's how I did it...
