Spanish slang for aunt

How do you spell the word that sounds like (tee tee), referring to an aunt or auntie?

I know that tía is the Spanish word for aunt, but many people call their aunts something that sounds like "Tee Tee," but I don't know how to spell it.

Does anyone out there have a suggestion?

In Spanish the word is Tia, it could be a play on this word. Puerto Ricans use Titi more often.

TITI or TATA
by: Anonymous

I'm from Spain, we sometimes use the expresion TATA to call an aunt or a female you are really familiar with or take care of you and it is not your mum. On the other hand TITI is slang term for a woman similar to the term "lassie" in the uk i think it is a bit old fashion term to use now.

Slang for tía

I'm Peruvian and I've heard the diminutive "tiíta", and, making a guess, the short for that word is "tíi", like "mami", "papi, "chiqui".

Good luck.
