Spanish Versions of the Bible

I am a member of the Gideons International and was wondering if you know anything about the Spanish translations we give out. These are from Antigua Version de Casiodoro de Reina (1569) Revisada por Cipriano de Valera (1602) Otras Revisiones: 1862, 1909 y 1960.

I was recently told that this version reintroduces much of the Roman Catholic dogma about Mary which the texts translated into Spanish from the Textus Receptus or the basis of the KJV translations do not.

Can you confirm this as either true or false?

Go to www.reinavaleragomez.com if you are looking for a Reina Valera Spanish Bible that is equivalent to the KJB.

pure word for spainish speeking people

please look up how to get ahold of a RVG for the spainish speaking people. it is the same as the KJV but for spainish people. call if you want more info 813 404 7487 pastor cable/tampa fl.GOD Bless

Reina-Valera is Protestant

I think you will find that the RVA is the Spanish version of the KJV/AV. It sprang from the same ground and is held in the same honor by "evangelicos".

Not that Protestants are Christ's only church...
