The Translator Video
Hopefully this doesn't happen to you!

I haven't run across too many videos that talk about what life is like as a freelance translator. However, last week I got an email from someone who forwarded this video to me and I thought it was a bit funny, so I decided to share it with you here because hey, even translators need to take their mind off their work every once in a while.

The Translator Video (as I like to call it) is a song by freelance translator Sharon Neeman called "5,000 Words" which is the amount of words that a decent freelance translator should be able to translate in a normal day's work.

The song is kind of long (about 6:00) but you need to listen to all of it, because it's a progressive story and you don't get the full story until you listen to the very end.

So, here it is and I hope you enjoy!
