"Veronica" meaning in English
by: Anonymous

The word "Verónica" has a couple of different meanings, but first of all, it's origins:

It comes from the Latin form of the Greek name Berenice, which in turns means "she who brings victory."

In English, the two meanings are very different: 1) First of all, it refers to a genus of plants, and 2) it refers to a technique used in Spanish-style bullfighting.
