what is "estiendo"?

by JC
(Dubai)

In the song, "Te pido perdón" by Tito "El Bambindo", it seems like one verse says: "hoy te estiendo yo mis manos" And that is what free online lyrics say, too. What is estiendo?

I believe that it would mean to "give a helping hand" (extender la mano) it also means the action of extending your hand to be shaken in an introduction. To be compassionate and to forgive.

Why the attack on Dominicans??
by: Anonymous

Tito El Bambino is Puerto Rican. I've yet to hear of a nationality which doesn't do its part to "assassinate" its own language.

Estiendo

Dominicans assassinate the Spanish in the vilest way, and they make their songs with the same slang they speak; the verb is EXTENDER the conjugation is EXTIENDO, not estiendo
