Another free online translator that is pretty popular these days is the World Lingo translator website. WorldLingo is another translation company that offers translation services. This online translator is also capable of translating blocks of text or entire web pages. Both features can be accessed from the same site so there is no need to switch back and forth between pages. This is especially beneficial if you're plugged in with a telephone line. They say that their machine translation software that runs the online translator is capable of accurately reflecting the gist of the meaning at an accuracy rate of 70-%75. The WorldLingo translator is capable of translating any combination of the following languages: English, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Dutch, French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazilian), Russian, and Spanish. Another feature of the World Lingo translator is that you can pull up a window with drop-down menus where you can insert special characters (accented letters, for example). You can also select which subject your document is written in (General, Legal, Political Science, etc.) I'm not sure how much difference your translation will be by choosing different category, though. It doesn't give a limit to the amount of text you can translate at once but it seems to be a good amount. Here are the results of the experiment. I'm a little teapot, short and stout.
